Decibel Meter Pro App Reviews

I dont have a professional use for this app but it is interesting to play with and see how much noise is in our environment. I probably would not be half deaf today if I had paid more attention to noise. This app quantifies the noise.

Tried to calibrate it to my trusty radio shack SPL meter and it wouldnt read a 65 db constant tone, even with the calibration slider turned all the way up. I also dont like that you cant switch the max, avg, and peak readings to the larger number in the center. Why did I waste my money on this??

I use it to measure the noise level in my rooms and outside surroundings to get a feel of what is the quietest (or loudest) and to what reading this app registers it at. Now I can tell just by listening how loud my surroundings are. Theres only so much 70db noise one can take before moving away from that noise.

This app is a total scam. Do not download it. All its "measurements" are totally false and made up!

If the UI wasnt so squirrelly and didnt move unnecessarily, it might be a good app. As it is, wow- annoying.

Great app; I use it when testing new pellets out of my D-953. Some pellets shoot at 77db and others shoot up to 105db

This is a paid app... Developer should provide support for older devices like the ipad mini. Now I cannot update the app.

Must be a mistake...a simple app like this could run on a toaster.

Worked fine however the latest upgrade failed to install even though the information indicates it is supposed to be compatible with the iOS 9 as well as the iPhone. Too bad

Does not support iPads and iPod touches that people purchased this on. Do they expect people to go out and buy a $700 iPhone 6 so their app will install? Same thing with their Tone Generator Pro. This update will not install. Now we all have a permanent scar on our devices showing that an update is available...that wont install. Unbelievable...

So you just throw us under the bus because we dont have the newest phone? Will give you a bit of time to see the error of your ways. In light (and sound) of this, I would not consider getting any other apps from you.

It works great. But the latest update is getting stuck in my updates saying it needs updated. But when I click Update it says it is not compatible with this iPad (first generation mini). Then why show up as an update for version 9???? Now I cannot get rid of the Update without getting rid of the app!!!!!!

They killed support for iPhone 5. At least I read the other reviews before I uninstalled it.

Why didnt you just create a new app for the new phone and leave the old one alone that was working for which I paid for. This is the first app Ive bought that was disabled because I didnt have the newest phone. Why dont you advertise other apps youve created so I can steer clear of them.

I tried to install the update today and it says that its incompatible with this iPhone. Unless its not a bug. In which case youll need to give me my money back.

I bought and like this app and have used it for a couple years, but was surprised to find my phone is no longer supported. Even though, in the update description, it mentions iPhone 5 screen size. Very disappointed.

Very useful for comparing noise levels even if the accuracy of the meter is unknown. The relative results are still useful when comparing for example, two different dishwashers.

As promised Im updating the review since they addressed the iOS 9 iPhone 6s crashing. No more crashing and it works great!!! Thanks for staying on top of this!

Latest version says ".. Cant update. Not compatible with your iPhone..". Update description says it includes iOS 9. Thats what I have.
