This app provides a quick reference and data collection for the client to make informed and knowledgable choices... Used many times , excellent "tool" in the toolbox for safety professionals...

I would love the option of an override when the iPhone goes to the lock screen. However this app really does work. Thank you folks

No brainer, this great app is the same price as the crappy ones.

Id have to agree with an earlier reviewer that theres something not quite right with the accuracy. For some reason Id get 55-60 in a very quiet room with no noise at all. I also downloaded Decibel 10 for free and got a reading of 40-45 in the same room under the same conditions. Even if its 99 cents, Ive overpaid--Ill probably disable it.

Not really that great.

I fly RC planes and use the meter to prove to onlookers that we are operating within proscribed acceptable noise levels...takes the guess work out of the equation!

Needs to be zeroed and have sensitivity set before it works best, but once set, seems to perform well.

Didnt realize the sound level in every day activity

Not so good I have to calibrate it all the time and it still not that accurate.

Although the interface is nice, and offers nice features such as calibration. It is not accurate at all. Tested it in a very quiet room, where I am supposed to be getting 30 db, but instead its reading it in 50s!!! Even with the calibration, it is not enough, the readings is just way off!

Am really enjoying this app. I am a little perplexed by the fact that a really quiet room still shows about 57db and with the tv going it is only 60db. Thought the really quiet room would be like 30db.

Dont know how sensitive it is. Reads 42 decibels in a quiet bedroom.

I love the app but UPGRADE SO IT CAN BE USED FOR IPHONE 5!!!
